The first time I discovered my talent was at the hands of my first-grade art teacher. She asked us to draw an apple in three colors: red, green, and yellow. I drew without hesitation, and when the teacher saw my drawing, she held it up in front of the class and said that my drawing was superior to my classmates'. That moment was pivotal because I began to believe in myself.

But despite my talent, I wasn't improving. I struggled with poses and angles, and I felt frustrated. Do you know why? Because I wasn't practicing. I assumed that as long as I could draw well, there was no need to practice. And I was completely wrong.
How did it develop? In a way I'd been ignoring for years.
I remember perfectly the moment I decided to practice hard. After finishing my work, I would sit with my family, hold my sketchbook, apply the steps I had learned from drawing tutorial websites, and repeat every movement and every line over and over again.
Page after page, I filled it with practice drawings. And believe me, after just one week, I noticed a remarkable improvement. I began to master drawing faces and bodies in a way I never imagined. This saved me from a state of stagnation.
After that, I decided to share my experience with others. I created my animation tutorial channel, and then this website, to share my journey and its details with you, to make the path easier for you, and to warn you of the mistakes I made.
The manga industry was a turning point in learning to draw anime.
Drawing manga, believe me, was the most powerful way to improve my drawing skills. 2022 was the turning point. I always started manga and then stopped, and I didn't really improve. But when I decided to commit, everything changed.
I spent long days working on manga chapters. I drew day and night, and little by little my hand became more flexible. I began to control the lines, and I overcame difficulties such as drawing hands or difficult poses.
Imagine that after a short period, I started drawing hands without needing to plan ahead! And I started improvising in drawing with great confidence, all because I committed to practicing by drawing a complete manga, and this is one of the secrets of learning to draw anime.
