But why are Arabic cartoons so similar? They always carry the same idea under the pretext of educational purpose, clinging to the same repetitive and boring pattern. Whenever I hear about “Arabic anime or cartoon,” what comes to mind is a work with a flimsy, weak story, and characters with an excessively cute character, without differentiating between good and evil, and without a final goal for the series' protagonist. Most of us leave and do not follow Arabic animation.

There is no real story in Arabic cartoons, but the goal of most works is to instill principles, the same plot in every work, as if the viewer does not learn in his home and school until Arabic cartoons chase after him and give him an extra dose.
We all share these values and love to learn from them, but why doesn't the work contain a basic idea? The problem here is that they don't think outside the box, and they don't come up with stories that attract viewers, whether young or old. There are many beautiful ideas that are suitable to be made into a cartoon or anime. .

The second problem is that it is always directed towards children, without giving any importance to the youth category who are waiting for a work that suits their taste, although all dubbed anime have been modified and distorted from the youth category in order to suit children, including Conan, for example, to name just one example. We now have countless episodes of cartoons and anime that are largely dedicated to children, while young people rarely find a work that suits them. Even the works that were shown on Spacetoon Power channel had many scenes deleted and covered up, and the stories distorted, leaving only the action part to appear as the most prominent. In other words, there is no longer a difference between Spacetoon and Spacetoon Power in this case. I know that everyone has a different point of view on the subject, and we may not find two people who agree on the same thing.
Teenagers and young adults should either have works dubbed or translated for them that suit their age, or a legendary work created specifically for them. I am not an author, and I don't understand how to come up with a novel or short story, but there are those who excel at this; talent is endless.

Who among us hasn't watched famous American cartoons like Spider-Man or Tom and Jerry, or Japanese works like My Brother and I or Gundam Wings and more? Our childhood was even centered around those works. But have you ever wondered why those works spread and became famous? And why they reached global recognition? The reason is simple: the story, as it is the most important element in any work.
And often it is more important than the animation itself. Let me ask you, would a young man stop watching Naruto and go watch Sinuhe? Certainly not. And here lies the problem with Arab animation. Their works, as we know, are an inexhaustible sea, a sea of new and unparalleled stories. They come up with attractive ideas that make us marvel at them. So why doesn't the Arab animation industry take such a step? Instead of recycling the same worn-out ideas over and over again?
There are countless sources of inspiration, such as Arabic stories, books, and novels written by great figures. An Arabic novel can be turned into anime, just as the Japanese did with Les Misérables, which produced a work of rich literary and educational value, with dramatic events that captivate viewers episode after episode. There are other novels that have been turned into many animated series that contain benefit and lessons. They were also able to turn characters who benefited humanity, such as philosophers and scientists, into animation, and we tell their life stories. Not only that, but there are new writers who have unique stories, and I have collaborated with them and read their works myself, and they are waiting for the right opportunity to turn their works into anime.
Arabic cartoons or animation
Every time I see an Arabic cartoon or anime, it makes me happy and gives me hope that it might develop, but unfortunately, that seems far off. Spacetoon shocked us by producing a cartoon for the Mishari family, which caused a stir, according to what I read in the comments of their page followers. What is disappointing is that the work does not contain a strong plot, like Japanese anime, and the drawing style is certainly not the preferred style for most of us. As we saw, it is nothing but a childish work. It is worth mentioning that there are beautiful works that deserve appreciation, such as Emara. .
And let's not forget the beautiful work, Legends of the Future, which followed the Japanese style in drawing, animation, and backgrounds. I was excited when I heard about it, but its story was not that different, as it talks about old tales in order to gain benefit and moral lessons from each episode, which is similar to all Arab animations, unfortunately. I wished that they would break out of that mold and come up with new ideas that attract viewers more than traditional stories. But to be fair, this is the first serious Arab step to enter the world of anime production, and from this platform, I salute them for their beautiful effort.

This is how we can advance the anime or cartoon industry in Arab countries and reach a higher level than it is now. You will not find followers on social media discussing episodes of the Mishari family, but we are all now more interested in talking about episodes of Attack on Titan. Herein lies the difference, the story first.
