For example: a raging fire behind them—and boom, the message is clear, more powerful than any words, and perhaps even more so than adding rousing music.
The same applies to sad scenes, as a dark background can play a key role in conveying meaning, or a background with irregular lines, to give an impression of inner emptiness, or bitter conflict, or perhaps with a black spiral ring, to express the pain of loss. .

I have previously designed several action backgrounds to use in my anime, as I mentioned before. This has taken my work to a higher level. Instead of using a static background, or a background of a room or street in the exciting scenes, I replaced them with these action backgrounds, which I of course designed with the After Effects program, known for designing visual effects, whether for films or animation.
Not only the action sequences, but I also designed outdoor scenes, without specifying a particular spot, but just a general shot of the sky in the morning, another night shot, and one of the sky and the twinkling stars.
