My online store has everything you need as artists
First step
First, we draw the eye we want to color, and you can choose the shape you prefer according to the anime character, whether it is a wide or narrow eye.
Make sure to draw the upper eyelid and eyelashes clearly, indicating the position of the lens (iris) inside the eye, and leaving adequate space for the pupil.
If you wish, you can add a simple line to the lower eyelid to give a beautiful detail to the eye.

Step two
We are now coloring the skin with beige or the desired color according to your anime character's color.
For coloring anime eyes, I chose a light pink color as a base for coloring the eyes. You can choose blue, green, or purple, depending on the style you want.
Color the entire iris with a light color, taking care not to color the pupil and gloss areas.

Step three
We begin by adding a light shade to the upper eyelid using a slightly darker shade than the base color you have chosen.
Use the soft brush tool, and start coloring from top to bottom, easing the pressure as you go down until the gradient is smooth.

Step four
We continue coloring the anime eye and then add a darker shade than before on top of the first shading, while maintaining the same coloring direction from top to bottom.

Step five
At this stage, you can lightly tap the pen at the edges to add light and natural shading points as much as possible.
We should note that here, we are using a darker shading color than the previous one.

Step six
We move on to the highlighting stage, where we choose a very light color such as white or very light pink.
Using a water brush tool or a soft brush, draw a small glitter spot at the bottom of the iris, and you can add a small glitter on top of the lens if you wish.
This step will make the anime eye appear bright and full of life in your drawings, so don't ignore it.

Step seven
In this step, we add important eye details such as:
- Draw the pupil (black dot) inside the iris in the middle of the eye or according to the direction of looking.
- Adding whiteness inside the iris around the pupil, which gives the eye a natural shine.
- Lightly define the line separating the lens and the eyelid to make the eye stand out more.

Final touches when coloring anime eyes:
In the final stage, we add a little highlighting above the eyelashes using a light color, while adding some shading to the skin under the eye to show depth.
You can also draw some fine hairs on the upper and lower eyelashes in soft lines to enhance the beauty of the eye and make it closer to the professional Japanese style.
Important notes:
- You can use any color you like instead of pink, such as blue or green, while applying the same steps, and you will get great results.
- It is recommended to practice this method more than once, so that you can master the method of coloring anime eyes quickly and professionally in your future projects.
- When using digital drawing software, you can more easily control the shades and highlights to achieve a variety of effects.
- Try to mimic the eye coloring of the characters you love from your favorite anime to learn more details and techniques.
By following these steps for the anime eye coloring lesson, you will get an attractive, bright, and full-bodied anime eye in just a few minutes, adding a professional touch to your drawings and making the character more beautiful and attractive.

This is how we have learned how to color anime eyes in an attractive and easy style, so you can add a professional touch to your drawings quickly and without complications. Continue practicing this method using different colors and techniques to gain more confidence while coloring and develop your own style.
Manual artists can also follow these steps, and the results will be similar, because the style of coloring anime eyes is the same for both digital and manual drawing, and they do not differ in anything, perhaps only in the tools and techniques.
