The good news is that the necessary tools, software, and equipment are now readily available, so there's no excuse not to enter the world of animation and create animation from home. Today, I'll guide you through the easiest and clearest ways to help you enter the world of animation from the comfort of your own room.
Be the animation studio
In this digital age, entering the field of animation is no longer difficult; it is actually quite easy, and the reasons for this are that the tools are now readily available to us. I will mention what we need:
- A computer or laptop.
- A tablet for drawing.
- Ideas for stories to be turned into anime.
It is possible to break into this dazzling world simply by using your phone. I have met many creative people who have managed to design amazing animation works from Android or Apple phones, so there is no excuse now!.

Watch anime and learn the secrets of animation.
One of the most important ways to learn animation without courses or lessons is by watching anime. This has definitely benefited me a lot, because while watching anime, you learn directing and animation techniques, the timing of adding sound effects, and much more, while at the same time having a fun time.
Don't let watching anime become a way to waste time; instead, make it a learning tool. Limit yourself to one or two episodes a day, and watch while the animation is in progress if possible, so you remain productive and don't fall into the trap of wasting time on the couch.
Stay away from "social distancing" sites“
Many believe that social media is a tool for learning, but in reality, it can be the biggest obstacle you face when entering the field of animation. Short clips and quick videos steal your time and focus, and you find yourself ending up having drawn nothing and not finished any projects.
Keep your phone away while working on animation, and don't let these sites be the reason for your constant isolation. After the animation is finished, make time to connect with your family, and take your sketchbook to continue practicing while you sit with them. It is my genius way of combining practice with social life.
Movement is a blessing: Don't neglect your health when entering the field of movement.
One of the biggest problems we will face when entering the field of animation is a lack of movement. The reason is that we spend hours and hours in animation, without paying any attention to physical activity, which results in lethargy and illness.
Doing simple home exercises for ten minutes a day, such as squats, running in place, or moving your legs and arms, will give you a boost of activity and energy that you will need during work.

Some people think they can do everything on their own: writing the story, drawing the characters, animating them, dubbing, and editing. But in reality, becoming an professional animation artist requires collaboration. After finishing the anime, send the characters to the voice actors to add their voices, then send the clips to a sound engineer for quality control, and finally, ask a family member for help with the editing. That's what I did with my brothers.
