After the success of the first film I designed in 2016, which many people liked, I decided to come back again with a film called ”The Research Team”, based on a manga I designed years ago, especially since I missed making animation and anime films a lot, so I decided to take a break from work and devote myself to the new anime. .
This is the first time I've written a storyboard before I even started working, because if I hadn't, I might have stopped halfway through, so I started drawing the scenes.
Numbering them with their respective action settings, I reached 5 pages of ready-made segmented scenes, and this made it "magically" easy for me to work, because in the past I used to start animation directly without prior planning, and I would stop because I did not have a schedule. .
After that I moved on to the backgrounds step, in which I dedicated two or three days, during which I drew the backgrounds for the scenes, using the Clip Studio program, and I prepared the backgrounds and they became ready for all the shots. .
After that I started on animation, which took me two to three weeks. Honestly, the work was enjoyable because I thought it would be boring and that I would stop, but I continued with great enthusiasm, completing the work day after day, especially since I decided to use the simple anime style so that I could finish quickly. What made the work easier for me was using the In Between style, which saved me a lot of effort.
The story of the anime research team
The story is about two people, agents in the research team, Nazuma ”the girl”, and Kiroki ”the boy”, who are working on a special mission to search for the swamp monster. They find it and try to help it. The story is of the adventure genre. .
