We know that in the world of anime eye drawing, the eyes are considered the main element that expresses the character in front of us. Through their eyes, we can learn about the character's traits: are they evil or good? Girl or boy?

For this reason, I will explain in a simple style, as we have become accustomed to every time, how to draw anime eyes, without the need for complexity or confusing steps, so that you can all easily draw anime eyes in your notebooks or on any program or application. So without delay, let's start learning how to draw anime eyes in my style.
First step
We define the shape of the eyes using geometric shapes; this will help us construct the shape and size of the eyes. We draw a pentagon in several sizes, based on the character's basic shape.
Steps of action:
- Open a new layer for the sketch.
- Using a tool Figure Tool > Polygon Draw the pentagon as a structural guide.
- You can control the size according to the size of the face you previously drew.
- Using Operation Tool You can move the shape to its appropriate position on the face.
The line we drew for the outer edge, or as it is called in the picture, “eye corner” or “tear duct,” in the case of anime, should be the longest, as shown.
Step two
Here we begin to draw the curved lines based on the plan we drew previously, and through them we will define the shape of the eyes.
Steps of action:
- Using G-Pen Draw curved lines over the pentagon to define the eye's curve.
- Do not press down too hard with your hand, but keep the lines flexible so that you get a smooth curve.
Step three
We now begin to fill in the lines and define the drawing from all sides. The upper side is for the density of the eyelashes, while on the lower side we draw a small line, and sometimes we can do without the lower eyelashes depending on the character.
Step four
This is where the black ink eyeliner, or "line art," comes in. Make sure to work on a new layer above the eyeliner layer, and use... Pen Tool > Real G-Pen or Mapping Pen To draw the final line clearly.
After applying the line art (inking), we add the eyelashes one by one, draw the pupil with a circle suitable for the eye, and then draw the eyelid line above the eye with a lighter line to define the features of the gaze.

For typical anime eyes, the design should be somewhat curved and rounded, with thick but sparse lower eyelashes, and a thin, hairless lower lash line. This style suits kind and forgiving characters.
My method for creating stunning and attractive eye makeup
Pulled eye
If we draw eyes that are pulled upwards from the side, this gives a vain or selfish appearance to the character, and the eyelashes are drawn intensively from the other side.
wide eye
If the eye is larger, the white is more visible with hairs at the edges, and the pupil covers the white slightly. This eye is suitable for calm or dreamy personalities.
sleepy or vain eyes
For a mysterious and evil eye, we draw the upper line straight and sharp with a small pupil, and the lower line is very thin to give a stern look.
Step five
After completing the steps for sketching and drawing the anime eyes, we begin coloring. Here, we choose colors that suit the character of your drawing. Open a new layer below the line art layer, then use the tool Fill Tool > Refer Other Layers To ensure the eye area is filled without color leakage.
Start by coloring the base area a light color, then add iridescent colors and their gradients using Airbrush Tool > Soft For a shiny and smooth look.
Step six
This is the final stage of drawing anime eyes. After coloring, we move directly to shading and adding effects like lighting. Here we use a tool Airbrush > Highlight To add a small white sheen to the iris, and another sheen to the edge of the pupil.
Don't forget to draw the eyebrows above the eye in a new layer using G-Pen or Pencil Depending on the desired result, because eyebrows are an essential part of completing the expression.
